    The challenging course, designed by architect Les Furber, demands strategic play with contoured greens and tree-lined fairways, but the stunning rainforest location and ocean views make it enjoyable for golfers of any level. Scoring opportunities seem endless if approaches are from the fairways and if you stay below the hole, you will roll in some birdie putts!

    After a round of golf, enjoy your favourite beverage and a well-deserved lunch at 19th Hole Cafe. Overlooking the 9th green, this is where the stories are told, and you can catch up on the world of golf. Enjoying the sun on our patio can erase any bad shots you may have had, while remembering the good ones.

    Practice your swing at the driving range, use the practice green and surroundings to refine your putting and chipping, or sharpen your sand-play skills from the green-side bunker.

    Stocked with new Callaway full-flight range balls, our range is open seven days a week, all year round. We have 16 grass-tee hitting areas available during the summer months and 18 hitting stalls open through the winter, six of which are covered and heated.

    Just a short distance away, The Fairwinds Marina has become a preferred stop-over for boaters cruising the coast or exploring the nearby Gulf Islands.

    Free club rentals and shuttle to and from the golf course are available to overnight moorage guests.

    Fairwinds Golf Club is centrally located between Nanaimo and Parksville on the Nanoose Peninsula.
