    Beautifully manicured greens and stunning coastal views, Greater Victoria is truly a golfers’ paradise. You will find two delightfully challenging courses within Victoria. Olympic View Golf Club is twenty minutes from the downtown city core, offering a forty foot cascading waterfall, whilst Highland Pacific Golf Course offers stunning panoramic views. 

    Outdoor Adventures

    Victoria is abundant with activities to enjoy all throughout the seasons. No matter if you climb, bike, hike or are looking for a leisurely stroll along the seaside, this city knows where it’s at. Mount Douglas is an easy hike to bring your furry friend along that offers beautiful city skyline views, whilst Dallas Road is a multiuse paved route that takes you to a lighthouse viewpoint. CraigX is an indoor climbing center that caters to all levels of climbing, whilst Beacon Hill Park is a gorgeous area to enjoy a picnic, play on the tennis courts, swing at the jungle gym or birdwatch.

    Water Activities

    Set sail and experience the many water activities Victoria has to offer! Rent a paddleboard or kayak and book a guided tour through the harbor or head out and spot the mighty giants of the sea on a whale watching tour. There are many opportunities to get you out on the water. 

     

    Arts & Culture

    Looking to step into Victoria’s history? Explore grand castles surrounded by botanical gardens and roaming peacocks, venture down narrow streets filled with shops in Chinatown, and visit some of the finest art galleries in Canada. The capital city has a vibrant art and culture scene, promenade downtown and take in all the sites or visit the Royal BC Museum and learn about the diverse culture and heritages, ice age and natural history. 

    Dining & Craft Brews

    There’s a reason Victoria has such a high reputation for their craft beer and dining scene. Sprinkled throughout the city, each local brewery hones their own signature crafted brew that is served fresh on tap. Vancouver Island Brewery, Whistle Bouy Brewing, Phillips Brewing and Hoyne Brewing are some of the names that are well celebrated amoungst the craft beer community. Victoria knows what you need to satisfy a craving. From decadent pastries, to wine pairings and fine dining, there’s nothing you can’t find to satisfy that sweet or savory tooth in the city.

    This (Bear Mountain Resort – Mountain Course, on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail) is my new favourite golf course – I just love the layout. It’s really one of the prettiest golf courses I’ve played in my life, I’ll come back here on vacation, it’s that good.
