    Follow the Vancouver Island Golf Trail

    Winnipeg local and Winnipeg Free Press writer Ron Pradinuk traveled to Vancouver Island this fall to tackle the fantastic courses and breathtaking scenery on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail. Ron started his six-day golf tour off in Courtenay. He traveled South, stopping at several destination golf courses, world-class restaurants, and unique island experiences before finishing up in Victoria with two rounds of golf and a whale-watching tour.

    This (Bear Mountain Resort – Mountain Course, on the Vancouver Island Golf Trail) is my new favourite golf course – I just love the layout. It’s really one of the prettiest golf courses I’ve played in my life, I’ll come back here on vacation, it’s that good.
