Golf Vancouver Island promotes Vancouver Island as a unique golf vacation destination through award-winning multimedia marketing campaigns and initiatives, hosting of travel media and developing relationships with industry influencers. Golf Vancouver Island is run by a diverse board of directors and contractors that meet regularly to maintain a leading-edge approach to marketing, monitor program implementation and capitalize on opportunities as they become available.
We are delighted to report that Golf Vancouver Island was able to broadcast our golf destination message throughout Canada, focusing on BC, Alberta and Ontario, and into the US, targeting California, obtaining over 14M impressions via digital, broadcast, and traditional media exposure, and as a result, able to secure over $1.8M in direct bookings to our partners through our Central Reservations call centre. We sincerely hope that you too have been able to see some of these direct bookings come through your facilities this year.
The Board of Directors and Contractors continue to work diligently to maintain a leading-edge approach to marketing and capitalize on opportunities as they become available, host travel media, generate new photo and video assets and look to engage social media influencers all in efforts to showcase Vancouver Island as the destination for golf travel in Canada.
